Bhopal: Thirty-year-old Rajkumar Dangi, who had levelled sodomy charges against Madhya Pradesh finance minister Raghavji, forcing him to resign is untraceable.
His father Ujjawal Dangi and elder brother Hari Singh have lodged two separate and contradictory complaints at Habibganj police station here and Kurwai police station in Vidisha district. While Dangi’s father claimed he was missing for the last four years his elder brother said Rajkumar was mentally ill and missing for the last three months.
Opposition Congress party has alleged that there is a threat to Rajkumar’s life while BJP leader Shivshankar Pateria, who got the alleged act filmed, claimed that Rajkumar is in safe hands and will soon reappear. He also claimed to be in possession of more proofs to reveal Raghavji’s duplicitous life.
Meanwhile, police are yet to register an FIR on Rajkumar’s complaint citing his appearance was mandatory to initiate legal proceedings in the case.
“We need the original copy of his complaint and affidavit to proceed. He has not turned up at the police station after providing photocopies of the documents. His statement and medical examination is necessary to take further action,” a senior police officer wishing anonymity said.
Rajkumar, who was working for Raghavji for the past four years, had approached Habibganj police station on July 4 to file a case alleging that the minister forced him to perform unnatural sexual acts luring him by an offer of a government job.
